The 13th ADA International Darts Tour - Conclusion

The 13th ADA International Darts Tour continues to break its number of attendance, players, events, sponsors and in many other aspects. Asia Darts Association is not glad to see so many long-term faithful friends and reuniting with them, but also would like to welcome many new faces.
Besides from promoting the sport of darts, Asia Darts Association also supports young rising players. We have teamed up with the well-known darts brand Target and DartsOn to host 2 new events Youth 21 Male and Female to give young players a better chance for them to compete and make a name for themselves. Lam Yuk Ying from Hong Kong defeated Hayasi Momoka from Japan to win the first Youth 21 Female title. For the Youth 21 Male, Li Ming Yin from Hong Kong won against Tan Jia Cheng from China. Also, for the first time, there is a HK$50,000 prize for the winner of the World Cup Series International Team Challenge to encourage each team to play their best and compete to the fullest.
The biggest headline news must be Chinese Taipei taking the International Team Challenge title against a strong Japanese team. Chinese Taipei had never been able to reach any high placement before but made it all the way into the finals and defeated team Japan. Their high spirits and support from their own Taiwanese players was definitely the key factor for this victory. Kim A Reum from Korea won almost all Ladies events including Super One Female. As for the Super One Mens, Thanawat Gaveenuntawong from Thailand won against Julio Barbero from Spain 3-0. Both were very strong and stayed close to each other all the time, but Thanawat managed to make 2 high finish out and sealed his second Super One title.
During the tournament, many great matches have been played and many of them have been recorded. We will release them to the public once edited. Please keep an eye on our Facebook https://www.facebook.com/Asiadarts and https://www.youtube.com/asiadarts for the videos.
After the 3 days marathon tournament, we hosted the largest dinner party up to date with all the players, operators and sponsors. A Chinese style banquet dinner was served with unlimited supply of beer, wine, lucky draws and fun games. As for the MVP presentation, the Asian player both for female and male that has earned the most points depending on their placements through different events was also presented. The female MVP is Kim A Reum from Korea, for the men, it is Gilbert Ulang from Philippines.
We would like to thank all of our players, organizers and leaders that brought teams and players for making this traditional tournament possible. A special thanks to all the sponsors for supporting us. Asia Darts Association always strives to host for more successful tournaments all the time and we look forward to see you all again next year in The 14th ADA International Darts Tour.
