The 14th ADA International Darts Tour - Conclusion

 

 

      The 14th ADA International Darts Tour has been a great success, especially the number of participants, there was a significant increase. We have also partnered up with many different new sponsors parties to make this tournament even better and assisting us to create an unforgettable weekend for the players. We hereby would like to thank all sponsors, players and organizer for making this tournament possible.

      Asia Darts Association has been recent years heavily invested to support youth players. This year, we continued to team up with Target to host the Youth 21 Male and Female event for the young players to have a better chance to compete in their own level. The winner for the Youth 21 Female is Chen Xiyue from China and Youth 21 Male is Fung Tsz Chung from Hong Kong.

      Team Philippines won their 2nd International Team Challenge champion title in 3 years after a tough battle against team Thailand. Thanawat Gaveenuntawong from Thailand got his 2nd Super One Men’s champion for 2 consecutive years in a row after a match which seems he would lose. Thanawat was losing 0 – 2 but came back hit some high finishes and fight back to win 3 – 2 against Jose Sousa from Spain. For the Super One Ladies, Krissy Grimal from USA defeated Angelyn Detablan from Philippines in another 5 leg game. Angelyn was leading the game 2 – 1 but Krissy answered back strongly to help USA to achieve their first Super One Ladies title.

      After the 3 days marathon tournament, we hosted the the tradition dinner party with all the players, operators and sponsors. A Chinese style banquet dinner was served with unlimited supply of beer, wine, lucky draws and fun games. As for the MVP presentation, the Asian player both for female and male that has earned the most points depending on their placements through different events was also presented. The female MVP is Angelyn Detablan from Philippines, for the men, it is Ronald Briones from Singapore.

      We would like to thank all of our players, organizers and leaders that brought teams and players for making this traditional tournament possible. A special thanks to all the sponsors for supporting us. For the future, we will analyze and do our best to run the tournament even more smoothly for you. As Joseph said during the dinner party, The 15th ADA International Darts Tour will be even bigger and more prize money
